21st Session of the UNIDO General Conference in Riyadh

Dr. Faisal Al-Mutairi, President of the International Diplomatic Union and Global Peace Ambassador for the International Congress, stated—following his participation in the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit held within the framework of the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO):
Our participation in this prominent international forum reflects our steadfast dedication to supporting global initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable development and strengthening global food security. In this regard, we express our sincere gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for hosting this significant global event and for the exceptional organization that contributed to its success. We further extend our deep appreciation to the Director-General of UNIDO for his relentless efforts and effective leadership throughout this major conference. The series of crises currently confronting the world requires us all to accelerate joint action and embrace innovative strategies capable of building resilient food systems and safeguarding the most vulnerable populations.
Throughout the conference sessions, we presented a strategic initiative embodying the vision of the International Diplomatic Union in promoting sustainable production and enhancing the capacity of nations and communities to confront food-related challenges. We witnessed strong engagement and positive feedback from the participating international delegations and institutions, reaffirming the significance of this initiative and its potential contribution to supporting development efforts at regional and global levels.
